नई दिल्ली.देशभर में अब तक सामान्य से 5% ज्यादा बारिश हुई है। दक्षिण पश्चिम मानसून ने पूरे देश को कवर कर लिया है। गुजरात, राजस्थान, ओडिशा, पश्चिम बंगाल, असम और झारखंड में बारिश आफत बन गई है। बाढ़ के चलते गुजरात और राजस्थान हाईअलर्ट पर हैं। यहां युद्धस्तर पर रेस्क्यू कार्य जारी है। नरेंद्र मोदी ने मंगलवार को गुजरात में बाढ़ का जायजा भी लिया। मौसम विभाग ने 27 से 29 जुलाई के बीच जम्मू-कश्मीर और हिमाचल प्रदेश में भारी बारिश की आशंका जताई है। 25 से 29 जुलाई तक दक्षिण पश्चिम राजस्थान में भी तेज बारिश की आशंका जताई गई है। 27 जुलाई को अत्यधिक बारिश हो सकती है। 25 से जुलाई के बीच पश्चिमी यूपी में भी भारी बारिश की वॉर्निंग जारी की गई है।अरब सागर-बंगाल की खाड़ी में एक साथ लो प्रेशर जोन बनने से हो रही भारी बारिश...

राजस्थान : पाली, सिरोही और जालौर में भारी बारिश का सिलसिला जारी है। तीनों जिलों में बाढ़ जैसे हालात बने हुए हैं। माउंट आबू में 24 घंटे में रिकॉर्ड 30 इंच बारिश हुई। डूंगरपुर में कार बहने से एक की मौत और बाड़मेर में 3 बच्चे बहे।

झारखंड: राज्य के ऊपर लो प्रेशर जोन बनने से बीते तीन दिनों से भारी बारिश हो रही है। मंगलवार को भारी बारिश के चलते 4 लोगों की मौत हो गई। रांची, जमशेदपुर और धनबाद समेत कई जिलों में स्कूलों में छुटि्टयां कर दी गई हैं।

50 साल की सूखी गर्मी के बाद बीते 15 साल में मजबूत हुआ मानसून: रिसर्च

- बोस्टन की मैसाच्युसेट्स इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी (एमआईटी) की स्टडी के मुताबिक, भारत में 50 सालों की सूखी गर्मी के बाद बीते 15 साल में मानसून मजबूत हुआ है।

- 2002 के बाद से देश में बीते 50 साल की तुलना में ज्यादा बारिश हो रही है। नेचुरल क्लाइमेट चेंज जर्नल में पब्लिश रिसर्च के मुताबिक, भारतीय जमीन और समुद्र के टेम्परेचर में बदलाव के कारण भी मई महीने के दौरान मानसून की बारिश हो सकती है।

- रिसर्च के मुताबिक, 2002 से भारतीय उपमहाद्वीप में गर्मी में बढ़ी है। इस दौरान यहां का तापमान 0.1 से बढ़कर एक डिग्री सेल्सियस के बीच पहुंच गया।

UP CM Yogi Adityanath urged to allow state buses to run on ethanol

Lucknow: Apex industry lobby Assocham has urged Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to allow all state-run buses to move on from oil-based fuel to alternative and environment-friendly fuel like ethanol.

"Uttar Pradesh is India`s largest producer of ethanol for blending with petrol after Maharashtra. The state should promote use of cleaner-burning fuel from sugarcane as the move would result in twin benefits of reducing dependence on crude oil imports and carbon-emissions," Assocham National Secretary General D.S. Rawat said on Tuesday.

Assocham has also urged the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister to accord priority to improving the condition and use of public transport to discourage the people from using their own vehicles as that would help reduce traffic/congestion on roads, reduce the number of road accidents and considerably bring down rising pollution levels across the state.

"Even the Union government is laying thrust upon the use of electric vehicles and green fuel like ethanol and is vigorously working towards promoting the use of cost-effective, import-substitute, pollution-free and indigenous technology," said Rawat.

"Such an initiative would not only help reduce pollution but will in turn promote industrial development, bring down logistics costs, generate employment, increase economic growth and boost exports," he added.

नई दिल्ली (जेएनएन)। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के कड़े संदेश के बाद इंस्टीट्यूट आफ चार्टर्ड एकाउंटेंट आफ इंडिया (आइसीएआइ) काले धन को सफेद करने में मदद करने वाले चार्टर्ड एकाउंटेंट के खिलाफ कार्रवाई के लिए सक्रिय हो गया है। फिलहाल 26 ऐसे चार्टर्ड एकाउंटेंटों की पहचान की गई है। इनके खिलाफ कार्रवाई की जा सकती है। प्रधानमंत्री ने शिकायतों के बावजूद गड़बड़ी करने वाले सीए के खिलाफ कार्रवाई नहीं किये जाने को चिंताजनक बताते लिए आइसीएआइ को आड़े हाथों लिया था।

दरअसल सीरियस फ्रॉड इन्वेस्टीगेशन ऑफिस (एसएफआइओ) ने कई सीए की संदिग्ध भूमिका के बारे में आइसीएआइ को आगाह किया है। आइसीएआइ के अध्यक्ष निलेश शिवजी विकमसे ने कहा कि मुखौटा कंपनियों से संबंध को लेकर 26 सीए की भूमिका की जांच कराई जा रही है। उनके अनुसार एसएफआइओ ने इन सीए की संदिग्ध भूमिका की जानकारी दी है और उनके बारे में विस्तृत जानकारी जुटाई जा रही है। आइसीएआइ के पास तय नियमों का उल्लंघन होने पर सीए के खिलाफ कड़ी अनुशासनात्मक कार्रवाई करने का अधिकार है। इसमें निलंबन और पंजीकरण तक रद किया जाना शामिल है। ध्यान देने की बात है कि मुखौटा कंपनियों के मार्फत काले धन को सफेद करने के आरोप में प्रवर्तन निदेशालय ने कई सीए को गिरफ्तार भी है।

तीन साल में 72 हजार करोड़ की अघोषित आय पकड़ी: केंद्र

केंद्र सरकार ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट को बताया है कि पिछले तीन साल में आयकर विभाग द्वारा बड़े पैमाने पर छापे, सर्वे और जब्ती की कार्रवाई की गई। इस कार्रवाई में कुल 71,941 करोड़ रुपये की अघोषित आय पकड़ी गई। सुप्रीम कोर्ट में एक शपथ पत्र दाखिल करके वित्त मंत्रलय ने कहा कि नोटबंदी के दौरान नौ नवंबर 2016 से 10 जनवरी 2017 तक 5400 करोड़ रुपये से ज्यादा अघोषित आय स्वीकार की गई। इसके अलावा 303.367 किलो सोना भी जब्त किया गया। मंत्रालय ने एक अप्रैल 2014 से 28 फरवरी 2017 तक की तीन साल की अवधि में पकड़ी गई अघोषित आय का विवरण दिया गया। इसमें नोटबंदी के दौरान हुई कार्रवाई से मिली अघोषित आय का भी विवरण शामिल है। शपथ पत्र के अनुसार आयकर विभाग ने तीन साल के दौरान 2027 से ज्यादा उद्योग समूहों के खिलाफ सर्च की कार्रवाई की। इसमें 36051 करोड़ की अघोषित आय पकड़ी गई। यह रकम जब्त की गई 2890 करोड़ रुपये की संपत्ति के अतिरिक्त है। विभाग ने अप्रैल 2014 से फरवरी 2017 के बीच 15000 से ज्यादा सर्वे की कारवाई की गई। इसमें 33000 करोड़ रुपये की कार्रवाई की गई। गौरतलब है कि विभाग सर्च की कार्रवाई छापे के रूप में विस्तृत रूप से करता है जबकि सर्वे की कार्रवाई तुलनात्मक रूप से संक्षिप्त होती है।

Donald Trump presses fraud concerns as vote panel meets amid criticism

Several federal lawsuits have been filed against the voting commission. The American Civil Liberties Union`s suit alleged the panel failed to comply with federal transparency laws, the NAACP`s Legal Defense Fund alleged the commission was formed with the intent to discriminate against voters of color. Other lawsuits, including one from the Electronic Privacy Information Center, raised concerns about Americans` privacy.

His comments led to a hue and cry, with the BJP and other Sangh Parivar outfits dubbing him "anti-national" and senior West Bengal minister Siddiqullah Chowdhury, regarded as a prominent face of the ruling Trinamool Congress, calling Barkati an RSS agent.

Finally, under pressure from the state government, Barkati was forced to take off the beacon from his vehicle.
