New Delhi: An abnormal state board of trustees, headed by back secretary Ashok Lavasa, which was made a request to inspect the seventh Pay Commission suggestion on stipends, is probably going to present its last answer to Finance Minister Arun Jaitley soon.
The Lavasa Committee was constituted in June a year ago after the legislature actualized the proposal of the seventh Pay Commission.
The board of trustees was entrusted to inspect the seventh Pay Commission suggestion for annulment of 53 stipends out of a sum of 196 and subsuming another 36 into bigger existing ones.
The following is the total rundown of recompenses canceled or held
1) Accident Allowance: excluded in the report.
2) Acting Allowance: Abolished as a different remittance. Qualified workers to be represented by the recently proposed "Extra Post Allowance."
3) Aeronautical Allowance: Retained. Upgraded by half.
4) Air Despatch Pay: Abolished
5) Air Steward Allowance: Abolished
6) Air Worthiness Certificate Allowance: Retained. Upgraded by half.
7) Allowance in Lieu of Kilometreage (ALK): excluded in the report.
8) Allowance in Lieu of Running Room Facilities: excluded in the report.
9) Annual Allowance : Retained. Upgraded by half. Stretched out to some more classifications.
10) Antarctica Allowance: Retained. Think. To be paid according to Cell RH-Max of the recently proposed Risk and Hardship Matrix.
