New Delhi: The Indian government on Tuesday scorned the United States' offer to help de-heighten pressures with Pakistan, saying that its position on two-sided redressal of all issues between the two neighbors has not changed.
"Government's position for reciprocal redressal of all India-Pakistan issues in a situation free of fear and brutality hasn't changed," Ministry of External Affairs representative Gopal Baglay said.
"We, obviously, expect the worldwide group and associations to uphold universal instruments and orders concerning psychological oppression exuding from Pakistan, which keeps on being the single greatest danger to peace and security in our locale and past," he said. The response came after Nikki Haley, the US Permanent Representative to the UN, yesterday said that the United States was worried about the condition of India-Pakistan relations and President Donald Trump himself may get included in a peace procedure between the two South Asian rivals.
